Elks Training

The Elks Training Program was developed to give us, the Members, an opportunity to become knowledgeable about our Lodge and the Order of Elks. The program is different every year to reflect all aspects of the Order and to make us aware of any changes made to the Statutes during the Grand Lodge Convention.

The test questions for this year are taken from the following:

Statutes Annotated

Lodge Activities Manual

Membership Program and Planning Manual

Auditing, Accounting and Management Manual

Manual on Protocol

Ritual Manual

All participants wishing to use the program to further their knowledge should take their time, read each question carefully, and mark the answer sheet. If you don’t have the necessary manuals or the statutes then please see your Lodge Secretary for these.

Completed answer sheets may be scoured by the Lodge Chairman or forwarded to me, the District Chairman, for scouring. Those that complete the program with fewer that 5 incorrect answers will receive a Grand Exalter Ruler’s Special Citation.

The State Association with the greatest percentage of participating members and the State Association with the greatest percentage of participating Lodges will receive awards at the Grand Lodge Convention in 2010.

Remember that all completed tests must be submitted before March 15^th 2010.
