Congratulations on your appointment as Public Relations Chairperson of your lodge. Your job is an important one, as it reflects the efforts made to let the public know what the ELKS are all about.
Attached is a copy of the North Central District Public Relations Report. You’ll need to make copies, as one is due at the end of each month in order that I can do my job at the District level and inform the “chain of command” of our activities.
You can download a copy of the Grand Lodge Public Relations committee handbook (from this web site, it is in a PDF format), this is your bible. If you are having problems getting this handbook please call me and I will get one for you, with it your job will be much easer and your lodge will get the public attention that it disserves. But as always if you have any questions please call me, or e-mail me any time.
Your reports can be post-mailed, e-mailed or faxed to me, but please get them to me before the 5th of each month. Please take the job seriously and conscientious in getting the reports to me on time.
